My college is the ladder which has faclitated me in acquiring a place in TCS. It was 4 years of discipline and decorum along with a methodical approach towards acquiring professionalism. We had a wide horizon of activities in our bags other than the Univ exams as Personality development Classes, symposiums, Tech Fests, etc. Velammal is the right place for any engineering aspirant to get packed and sold to the corporate world. |

I saw the college from the day they laid down the first stone to build the Campus. But it is only after seeing the Commitment and Perseverance from our beloved Chairman & Co, I thought that it is going to become a College that will have the capability to compete not with the State Colleges but with the National Colleges, so far my thoughts have come true and I am confident that I will see more and hear more about Velammal College.

Really a good world for doing UG as well PG. Good in all aspects. Good place to study, to shine in sports as well a ragging free college. I am proud to be a Vellammalian - as a first batch student of VEC , I had a great experience in the course of study. The eagerness towards the discipline and the degree upto which they strict to it is simply laudable. The hard core energy behind this magnificent growth of VEC is none other than The Chairman Mr. M.V. Muthuramalingam and his dedicated teachers (Still remember the way he speaks inside the class-during feeback) ( he can make anyone realise his mistake!) . After 8 years as an alumni if I look back at my institute and its growth, I can simply say "They always state what they do-"The Perfect Educators"- and-They do it by their evergreen principle of Discipline-Determination and Distinction".

Four years of studies in Velammal Engineering college has laid the first stones of my life as an engineer which has lead me to where I am standing now. Thanks to the lecturers, tutors and the administration for the moral and technical support they have offered. Life in VEC may be a bit hard and might give an impression that the individual is being "pushed" to study, nevertheless it has its own fruits that ripe after 4 years. I would be really happy if VEC turns to be a pioneer for technical education in future and there is no doubt that the pillars (Mr. Muthuramalingam, Mr.Velmurugan and others) are working on that to bring the banner to great height. |
