	To enhance the theoretical & practical knowledge, soft skills, and personality development
	and to interact with industry to gain the above, our department associations are used as platforms for our students.
	Conducting National level Technical Symposium – “The Techno Clash”
	Arranging regular weekly guest lecture series.
	Arranging Industrial Visits.
	Personality Development Workshops.
	Inter-Class Technical Quiz, Dumb Charades, Paper Presentation etc.
	Preparing us for Job Market, which includes series of aptitude test, G.D., Mock Interview.

Conference on Wireless Networking
In a move to provide good exposure to students the department hosted the conference on 6th March 2006. The conference provided for great insight on the variety of Networking and current trends in IT that had captured the market. This conference provided valuable information on wireless networking. Moreover, these fields were introduced as a gateway to a stupendous career!

April 2006 Workshop on IT & HR Opportunities and challenges The MCA department along with MBA department organized a workshop on 16th April 2006 for its students adumbrating the IT and HR in the Technology sector. The event was illuminated by Sri. M. V. Muthuramalingam Chairman, Velammal Educational Trust and flagged off by Mr. A. T. Arumugham, Director, HR an Finance, Orange Software India Pvt Ltd. The workshop included luminary topics like:
