Wipro’s gift to college

Chennai: Velammal Engineering College has received a software kit ‘Learning in a Box’ from IT major Wipro Technologies.

Part of Wipro’s Synergy – Talent Transformation initiative, the kit will help students to strengthen their fundamental programming skills and also prepare them for further learning in the corporate area.

A press release said each of the three kits presented to the college includes a set of video CDs on data structure, a book on computer concepts and programming and a CD with 100 programs.
